How do I care for my jewelry?
Gemstones
Handcrafted gemstone jewelry may be delicate and should be handled with care. Gemstone jewelry should not be worn when in contact with chemicals of cleaners. Jewelry should be put on after make-up and hair products. Keep jewelry away from prolonged heat and sun exposure and store in airtight bags to slow oxidation of sterling. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or harsh jewelry cleaners, but silver polishing cloth and soft damp cloth when necessary.
Wool
Wool is one of our oldest fabric material. The type of wool fibre that we use comes from sheep. Our wool jewelry are not suited to be cleaned. However, if it is necessary please use gentle handwash with luke warm water and mild soap. Let it dry naturally.
Leather
Our leather is from the buffalo and has been prepared through traditional methods. Its surface has been treated to better withstand water and dirt. To keep your leather accessories clean, dust the leather on a regular basis. You can also wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Tip! Use a thin layer of shoe shine and then buff for the leather to look fantastic.
